Grants and Opportunities
UC International is dedicated to supporting projects that extend the university's global reach. To that end, we have several grant opportunities available for faculty and staff.
As we move forward in learning to facilitate programs in a world with COVID-19, our grants will focus on re-developing past programs and training leaders to be successful within the additional health and safety precautions necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Funding for faculty to research a new program location or pre-COVID-19 location to establish connections within a community and organize logistics for a future program
Funding for leaders to experience an established program with a focus on expanding our pool of leaders with group travel experience during COVID-19.
Funding for student scholarships participating in a faculty-led program. The Petition to Offer a Faculty-led Program currently serves as the application for these grants.
The purpose of the Faculty/Staff International Incentive Grant is to provide support for the development of new collaborations with a counterpart at one of our strategic partner institutions.
Together the UC faculty or staff member and their partner counterpart would collaborate on sustainable projects in areas such as:
- joint research and scholarship,
- projects engaging students,
- collaborative courses,
- annual events, etc.
The University of Cincinnati is a member of University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), which is a non-profit consortium of 33 US universities.
With UC’s membership as an affiliate university, there are a number of opportunities available to UC faculty and staff, including the Visiting Professor Program. Professors from the University of Cincinnati have the unique opportunity to support the USAC mission and internationalize their home universities by teaching abroad.
