Explore Study Abroad
UC offers a variety of programs abroad that last for one week, a summer, a semester or an entire year. Studying abroad is more affordable than you think, with plenty of opportunities to use UC financial aid and apply for scholarships. The world is your classroom, where will you go?
A set of formal partnerships between UC and an institution abroad. UC students pay UC in-state tuition and receive transfer credit for this type of experience. Grades transfer on a pass/fail basis & do not affect GPA.
Organized and led by UC faculty, typically lasting 1 - 6 weeks. Students earn UC credit (although some programs may involve transfer credit). Programs change from year to year.
A variety of international opportunities are available through the office of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education. Students can also explore individual options with their co-op advisor and UC International.
External Provider Programs
UC partners with several external organizations to broaden opportunities for students. Many students study with UC's partner, the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC).
