UC's College of Business Makes 'The Princeton Review s' Best 296 Business Schools: 2009 Edition

The College of Business (CoB) at the University of Cincinnati (UC) has once again made

The Princeton Review

’s annual “Best Business Schools” ranking.

Cited in the ranking were such programs as the joint master’s programs between CoB and other colleges at UC, saying,  “Of particular note, University of Cincinnati’s joint degree in arts administration is ‘unique among business schools in North America’ and confers a special prestige, considering the school’s fine reputation in the arts and their world-famous music conservatory.”

Also noted were some of CoB’s outstanding research centers: “At this ‘top research organization,’ students may also pursue their specific interests through the school’s research centers, like the Goering Center for Family and Private Business, and the Center for Entrepreneurship Education and Research.”

The rankings are based in part on student responses to online surveys. And our students had a lot to say to the Princeton Review:

  • “Rigorous but manageable,” the school’s “one-year MBA program is very attractive to those who are taking time off of their career to pursue extra education.”
  • “The study abroad opportunities are plentiful.”
  • “Several standout professors supported by a solid core that ensures rewarding class experiences.”
  • “Classes are often very small and the teachers really care about their students and support you whenever you have problems and need them.”

“We are proud to receive this honor once again,” says Dean Will McIntosh. “Such recognition is consistent with our vision to be among the leading business colleges globally, and also speaks to the increasing level of satisfaction expressed by our students. By placing students at the center of decisions we make, we ensure that our college is becoming a destination campus for the best and brightest seeking a quality business education.”
