Watch the CCM Philharmonia's Sept. 20 performance
CCM students perform works by Dvořák and Haydn in this archival recording
Although we are currently unable to perform for you live, audiences can still experience the artistry and expertise of CCM's students, faculty and staff through our virtual performance offerings!
In addition to the CCMONSTAGE Online series of digital concerts and performing arts productions, the UC College-Conservatory of Music is also presenting virtual performances through its CCMONSTAGE Archives companion series.
Our newest installment in this ongoing series features the CCM Philharmonia student orchestra performing Antonín Dvořák's Serenade for Wind Instruments, Op. 44 (1878) and Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 103 in E-flat Major, D. 944 (“Drumroll”) (1795). Led by Director of Orchestral Studies Mark Gibson, this archival performance footage was recorded in Corbett Auditorium on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020. Audio and video production by Simón Sotelo. Watch the performance below.

Following health and safety precautions, all CCM ensembles have been reduced in size with instrumentalists spaced apart. Additionally, safety shields are placed between many student musicians on stage, with additional bell masks for trumpets and trombones. Learn more about the steps the university is taking to combat the pandemic on UC's Public Health website.
CCM will continue to record and share digital performances throughout the year to help us stay connected even when we have to temporarily stay apart.
