New parking rates and options for employees returning to campus
UC Parking Services Fall 2021 parking information
Rate increase
For UC employees who purchase parking permits, a permit rate increase will be implemented Thursday, July 1. This rate increase will help Parking Services meet its capital needs, and allow for technology improvements for customers. New rates can be found on the UC Parking Services website.
Return to Campus: Purchasing a permit
Employees returning to campus can purchase a permit for a non-waitlisted garage at any time, via the UC Parking Portal. Garage access will be enabled on the ID/Fast Pass within 2 hours of purchase. Non-waitlisted garages include: Calhoun, Campus Green, Clifton Court, Eden and Woodside.
Employees that were in a waitlisted garage, or had AA permits, and returned their permit due to remote work, will need to purchase a permit by Friday, July 30 in order to maintain a space in that facility. Due to the anticipated high volume of employees returning to campus, this requested start date form can be completed in advance to inform Parking Services of the return date on which the employee wishes to resume on-campus parking.
The requested start date form needs to be submitted at least 3 business days in advance of the desired start date to ensure it can be processed in a timely manner for garage access. Waitlisted garages include: Corry, CCM, Varsity Village, Stratford, University Avenue and Kingsgate.
All employees can also contact Parking Services at 513-556-2283, or stop by the office at 4 Edwards Center (51 Corry Boulevard) on the day they wish to purchase. Office hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
New service
Beginning Tuesday, June 1, Parking Services will pilot a new parking option for faculty and staff, who utilize daily parking in place of having a permit for the uptown campus garages. The Parking Value Pass will have two options: Value Pass 15 and Value Pass 30. Both passes expire 4 months after purchase, and allow for a discounted rate over the daily rate. The pass will be good for any parking garage that has daily visitor parking available; the pass will not be accepted during event parking. For the full list of policies, pricing and how it works, visit the parking page on Bearcats Landing. Get real-time visitor parking availability by utilizing Parking Service’s Visitor Tracker, and find out when event parking is in place by viewing the Parking Event Calendar.
For questions regarding the returning-to-campus parking options, please email parking@uc.edu, or call 513-556-2283, or visit Parking Services on University of Cincinnati’s main campus in 4 Edwards Center, 51 Corry Boulevard, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday.
