WVXU: Blueprint for reproductive hormone might aid infertility treatment in women
UC College of Medicine lab advances our knowledge of the protein anti-Müllerian hormone
Thomas Thompson, PhD, professor in the UC Department of Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and Microbiology, and Kaitlin Hart, a doctoral student in the UC Department of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology, spoke with WVXU’s Cincinnati Edition about their latest research advancing our knowledge of the protein anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH). AMH plays a role the development and regulation of reproductive organs. Understanding it better might help researchers find better treatments for infertility in women. Thompson and Hart published their latest findings in the scholarly journal for the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
