UC Blue Ash named one of the best places to work in Greater Cincinnati

The college earns the designation in a contest among more than 200 local companies and organizations

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is a recipient of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2021 Best Places to Work award.

Finalists for the contest were selected in August and the winners were announced by the Cincinnati Business Courier at a special event on Oct. 12 at TQL Stadium. They were also listed in the Oct. 15 print edition of the weekly business publication.

A total of 215 companies and organizations from across Greater Cincinnati submitted a nomination for the contest. From those entries, 66 finalists were selected based on results from a survey of the employees of each company or organization conducted by Quantum Workplace. It measured several key areas that make up an organization’s culture and impact its employee engagement and satisfaction.

The finalists were divided into five categories based on size, and up to three winners were selected in each category. UC Blue Ash was named as a winner in the Grand Company category for organizations with 200 or more employees.

The selection is a big accomplishment for any company or organization. For UC Blue Ash, it speaks to the culture the faculty, staff and leadership have helped foster over the past several years.

“This is an award we share together as a college,” said UC Blue Ash Dean Robin Lightner. “It is a testament to the exceptional work our faculty and staff do every day to support our students, our mission and each other. It’s why we have such a collaborative and caring environment on our campus, and it’s why UC Blue Ash is a really special place to teach, work and learn.”
