WCPO: UC marching band revving-up for a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’

Lifting everyone’s spirits UC marching band visits ‘Cotton Bowl’ with the Cincinnati Bearcats

Members of the UC marching band, Tanner Stacy and Anita Ney, spoke with WCPO’s Kristyn Hartman about their preparation and excitement for the Cincinnati Bearcats’ first College Football Playoff appearance in the Cotton Bowl. The marching band traveled to Arlington, Texas. While the historic group's 270 members are well-prepared for the national stage, hitting the right notes doesn't just happen — it takes hard work. Band members can be found practicing the UC fight song before any given game, making sure they've perfected the song that encourages players and fans alike.
