WATCH: CCM Media Production wins 5 NATAS Student Production Awards

Watch the award-winning newscast, video essay, short film, arts documentary and music video online

Students from the Media Production Division at UC's College-Conservatory of Music won five 2021 College Student Production Awards from the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. CCM Media Production won more awards than any other program, college or university that competed in the Ohio Valley four-state region.

This is a record-breaking feat for the Division, marking the highest number of awards Media Production has won in a single awards cycle. At the 2021 awards ceremony, Media Production student Clark Comstock was also named the recipient of the NATAS Ohio Valley Chapter's inaugural $3,000 Board of Governors scholarship.

CCM's Media Production Division seeks bright, curious and creative students who possess an outstanding work ethic and the desire to produce impactful media content rather than simply consume it.

Formerly known as Electronic Media, CCM’s Media Production Division emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning that is student-centered, professionally relevant and focused on creative development.

CCM’s BFA program in Media Production provides students with the skills necessary to tell stories and produce impactful media content. The curriculum is designed to provide students with the theoretical and applied foundation necessary for successful careers in filmmaking and digital cinema, television production, broadcast news and talent development, interactive and new media, social media, audio and video production and sports media.
