The 2022 edition of #GivingTuesday will be Nov. 29, when the University of Cincinnati celebrates the many ways UC and UC Health make a positive impact on the world. In its ninth consecutive year participating in the international #GivingTuesday campaign, UC and UC Health are highlighting some of the compelling work that positively influences the lives of our UC family members.

Bearcats are bound to find a cause that resonates with what they’re most passionate about, and the Bearcats Pantry and Resource Center is a great example. Elizabeth Gillespie can attest to the life-changing support available when campus centers are equipped to meet the needs of students, thanks to the philanthropic vision of donors.  “If it weren’t for the Bearcats Pantry and Resource Center, I would have been forced to drop out of school,” Elizabeth says. “Because UC has created the pantry to help students, I was able to receive the support I had been missing.” You can read Elizabeth’s story here.

Gifts of $15 or more made to any fund during the campaign will receive this year’s limited-edition Bearcat ornament. As a special offer, you can double your impact and double your ornaments on Cyber Monday, Nov. 28. Make a gift of $30 or more to one of our three campus pantries: Blue Ash, Clermont and Clifton, on Monday to receive this years and a previous year’s ornament.

Hundreds of funds are available for Bearcats to support, including the Transition & Access Program (TAP), the African American Cultural and Resource Center (AACRC), and the UC Cancer Center.

“Many alumni say their greatest fulfillment comes from lending their support to others in the UC family,” said Jennifer Heisey, the UC Foundation’s vice president of alumni and donor experience. “#GivingTuesday makes it easy to help those areas of UC you feel closest to or most passionate about. And when we come together to support UC, the collective impact is tremendous.”

As we enter the season of giving, how will you choose to make an impact? Show your UC pride by supporting the program that means the most to you. #GivingTuesday is one day for coming together as one UC family to impact tomorrow. Let’s #GivewithHeartUC.
