RWC's Electronic Media Communications Department, 2004 President's Quality Service Award Winner
Service is at the heart of the mission of the Raymond Walters College Electronic Media Communications Department. More than 3,000 times each quarter, they are called upon for delivery and set-up of equipment in the colleges classrooms. More than 100 times a day, calls come in for media support services.
Its because of their excellence in meeting these demands, and so much more, that the team of H. Michael Sanders, Dave Hubble, David Hartz, Carman Wakefield, Alvaro Aristizabal, Peter Bender, William Boyle, Lou Olenick and Neil Sharrow are being recognized.
The team supports the Raymond Walters community with its multimedia production needs. Whether the medium is video, photography, interactive or Web-based, they have shown award-winning abilities that have made them a popular producer of these types of projects not just for Raymond Walters clients, but for other UC units and a list of outside clients. Those projects have been recognized with more than 25 major awards in professional competitions.
The team also is an excellent provider of in-service educational workshops on topics like instructional design, media production and software applications. Feedback from participants has been high, as has interest workshops end up with 12 participants on average, despite drawing just from the Raymond Walters community.
