Re: Cap and Gown Orders for Autumn All-University Commencement

Celebrating Student Success: Placing Students at the Center!

Please join our University of Cincinnati family for our Autumn All-University Commencement celebration to be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, December 10th at the Fifth Third Arena. The deadline for ordering your caps and gowns for Commencement is October 31st. This deadline has been set to ensure that our vendors are able to secure institutional hoods for all faculty requests. Rentals can be picked up in the bookstores beginning on Monday December 5th. They will be due back to the bookstore by Friday, December 16th.

As always, caps and gowns may be ordered from the University Bookstores. Also, faculty may order online at http://www.uc.edu/bookstore/graduation.asp. If you have questions, please contact Chris Adkins, University Bookstores, at 556-1291. Please note that our academic regalia vendor charges the University $50 for all rentals.

All Summer and Fall 05 graduates will be invited to this ceremony. The Doctoral Hooding Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 9th for all doctoral students completing degrees this academic year.

If you have any questions regarding the Commencement, please go to: www.uc.edu/commencement or contact Tom Hadley, Chair, Commencement Committee, 556-4194. Remember, academic regalia must be ordered no later than October 31st if you prefer a hood from a particular institution or college other than the University of Cincinnati.
