President Outlines Innovation Pathways for the 21st Century University
Just when you were getting used to the Knowledge Economy, it's being eclipsed by something else: the creativity or innovation economy. It's what many view as the most important issue facing the 21st century.
In her State of the University Address on Oct. 19, President Nancy L. Zimpher focused on UC's leadership capabilities as a 21st century university, outlining fthe ways in which UC is uniquely positioned to meet this challenge head on. She discussed four new pathways UC is called upon to embrace as it becomes a truly 21st century university.
