Mulvihill Named Senior Associate Vice President of UC Foundation

Bill Mulvihill has accepted the position of Senior Associate Vice President and Deputy Executive Director at the University of Cincinnati Foundation. As second-in-command for the Foundation, he will be directly responsible for West Campus, central programs fund raising and the UC Alumni Association, along with campaign planning.
 
Mulvihill has more than 30 years of experience with the University of Cincinnati, most recently as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Development. He has also worked with UC Residence Halls, Office of the President, Office of the Vice President of Public Affairs and the UC Alumni Association. 

Mulvihill has been instrumental in creating the UCATS program, renovating Nippert Stadium in the early 1990s and in the vision, planning and fund raising for the Richard E. Lindner Varsity Village.

He is also an active advocate for the Arthritis Foundation, and has served as Midwestern vice chair, chair of numerous national committees, Senior vice chair, a member of the Board of Trustees and as National Chair. He is currently Trustee Emeritus and is a member of the Chair's Senior Advisory Circle. Mulvihill is also a member of Board of Directors of the American Juvenile Arthritis Organization and serves on the Board of Directors of the Alliance for Lupus Research, where he is a founding member.

CCM Summer presents Film Scoring Summit for high school students

Do you have a favorite film music theme? Have you ever wondered how film scores come to life? Discover the art of film scoring during the one-day Film Scoring Summit at UC's College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Led by Professor Jasmine Guo, the Film Scoring Summit is a free event for rising 10th-12th grade students. Participants will delve into the magic of music in film, experiment with scoring and learn about CCM's Commercial Music Production (CMP) program. The Summit ends with a tour of CCM's recording studios and a Q&A session with faculty.
