UC Receives $50,000 to Support Engineering Design Clinic  

The gift is part of a partnership between P&G Babycare and the Engineering Design Clinic that will include a commitment from P&G to work cooperatively with the Design Clinic to provide real-world development projects to UC engineering students.  

The Design Clinic, started in 1990, offers seniors in mechanical, electrical, computer and other engineering programs a chance to work on real-world industrial problems. Participating seniors form teams solving design projects for companies such as General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Daimler Chrysler, General Electric, Procter & Gamble, Hillshire Farms & Kahn's, H. J. Heinz, Cintas, Lexmark and Xerox.

Civil engineering professor honored with Titan of Industry award
