UC's College of Business Featured in The Princeton Review s Best 282 Business Schools: 2007 Edition

UC's College of Business made the cut for The Princeton Review’s "Best 282 Business Schools: 2007 Edition." The New York-based education services company announced the results on Oct. 3, 2006.

According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review vice president of publishing, "We chose schools for this book based on our high regard for their academic programs and offerings, institutional data we collect from the schools, and the candid opinions of students attending them who rate and report on their campus experiences at the schools. We are pleased to recommend the University of Cincinnati to readers of our book and users of our Web site as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA."

"We are implementing a new strategic plan for the College of Business," says Dean Will McIntosh. "Our strategic plan includes re-focusing our MBA program around new venture creation, improving our graduate program and student support, reviewing our undergraduate pathways and programs, and providing faculty development opportunities."

Students appreciate recent changes to the UC MBA offerings. From 2004 to 2006, the number of part-time MBA students overall has increased by 30 percent and the number of women part-time MBA students has increased by 40 percent.

Other "B-schools" in The Princeton Review's top 282 include Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern and Cornell universities.

“Best 282 Business Schools” has two-page profiles of the schools with write-ups on their academics, student life and admissions, plus ratings for their academics, selectivity and career placement services. The Princeton Review's 80-question online survey asked students about themselves, their career plans and their schools’ academics, as well as student body and campus life.
