The University of Cincinnati Bearcats bested the Weber State Wildcats, 7662, in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
Deonta Vaughn scored 16 points in the first-round win. The senior now holds the UC record for 3-pointers as well as assists.
UC faces Dayton in the second round of the NIT, at 9 p.m., Monday, March 22, at UC's Fifth Third Arena in the Shoemaker Center.
