UC Homecoming Set for Oct. 30
One of the most anticipated events of the fall for students, alumni, faculty and staff is Homecoming, set this year for Saturday, Oct. 30.
The exact time and schedule for game-day festivities is dependent on the determination of kickoff time for Homecoming's centerpiece, the Syracuse-UC football game at Nippert Stadium. That decision has yet to be finalized by the BIG EAST Conference and its broadcast partners but game time will be announced on Monday, Oct. 18.
The theme for this year's Homecoming is "Transforming Bearcats Since 1819." Activities for the day include the normal array of events associated with UC home football games, including the Alumni Association's "Bearcat Blitz" celebration, Bearcats Family Zone and the day's non-football highlight, the annual Homecoming parade. Streets around campus will be closed during the parade, with detailed information available closer to the event.
