Data Center Connected to CARE/Crawley Generator
A team of dedicated individuals worked to connect the Data Center to the new back-up power source on December 28-29.
UC Information Technologies (UCIT) worked with IT professionals across the university and the Office of the University Architect to coordinate the project to connect the Data Center to the CARE/Crawley buildings generator. The successful upgrade and associated IT systems outage finished well ahead of the predicted schedule.
We are very thankful to our partners across campus for collaborating with us on this important project that makes our enterprise IT systems and services available in the event of an unexpected power outage.
