The staff of Governmental Relations & University Communications is a high-performing group of professionals, working together at the forefront of all UC communication efforts.
The division is responsible for:
- communication to key university stakeholders such as local, state, and national government, donors, alumni, students and employees;
- development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies for the university, its colleges and service units;
- oversight of university communications media, both printed and electronic;
- oversight of university branding and advertising efforts; and communication counsel throughout the university to reflect the quality and values of the institution
Mission The division will provide consistently excellent public relations services and counsel to enhance public approval and support of the university.
