CCP Admission Requirements

To participate in the CCP program, the State of Ohio requires students to demonstrate certain levels of college-readiness.

 

On Campus/Online Admission Requirements

The following requirements apply to any student who intends to take courses on campus or online with a UC faculty member.

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 (on high school transcript)
  • Proof of college readiness, English: English Assessment OR ACT/SAT test scores (see below)
  • Proof of college readiness, Math: Math Placement Test OR ACT/SAT test scores (see below)

 

In High School Admission Requirements

The following requirements apply to any student who intends to take CCP courses at their high school (only for high schools with which UC has a partnership).

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 (on high school transcript)
  • Proof of college readiness, English: Not required
  • Proof of college readiness, Math: Math Placement Test OR ACT/SAT test scores (see below)

Application Checklist

  • Application: Complete the Online Application
  • College Readiness Test Scores: If you have ACT or SAT scores, submit those with your application. If you are taking the UC English Assessment Test or Math Placement Test, you will receive access to take these tests after you have submitted your application
  • Transcripts: Have your high school counselor submit your Official High School Transcripts, by following the instructions below. Homeschool students may email their transcripts to ccp@uc.edu
  • CCP Permission Slip: Download, sign, and upload this slip in the application portal

Official High School Transcripts (for High School Counselors)

High school students' transcripts must be sent electronically from the their school counselor directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, using Parchment or Escrip-Safe. Counselors may also use the Slate counselor portal to upload materials on behalf of individual students and to check a student's application status. To request access, go to slate.org and click "Counselors Join Here."

Homeschool students may email their transcripts to ccp@uc.edu.
