The State of Ohio requires students demonstrate college-readiness as a requirement for CCP participation.
On Campus/Online Admission Requirements:
If you intend to take any course on campus or online with a UC faculty member, you must demonstrate college readiness in both English and Math. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA from your official high school transcript. Upon completion of the CCP application, students will be invited to complete UC’s English Assessment and Math Placement Test online.
As an alternative, students may provide official ACT or SAT test scores. PSAT or Pre-ACT scores are not accepted.
In High School Admission Requirements:
If you intend to take courses at your high school with whom UC has a partnership, you will only be required to take the UC Math Placement Test. Upon completion of the CCP application, students will be invited to take the UC Math Placement Test online.
You must demonstrate a 3.0 GPA from your official high school transcript and you must complete the UC Math Placement Test (MPT) with a score of 420 or higher for admission. *Please note that certain Math and Science courses may require a higher score as a pre-requisite for class registration.
