Why study Business Analytics?
The University of Cincinnati Master of Science in Business Analytics program provides you with expertise in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. The Lindner MS program in Business Analytics seeks full-time and part-time students with quantitative or technical backgrounds (mathematics, engineering, statistics, science, economics, etc.) who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of business analytics and data science. Work experience is not required to enter the program, which can be completed in less than a year.
The MS Business Analytics program is recognized as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) designated program, eligible for the 24-month OPT extension for international students.

More than 90% of graduates are employed within three months of graduation. Students are hired by leading employers such as Amazon, Apple, Disney, U.S. Bank, IBM, Kroger, Macy’s, Morgan Stanley, and Procter & Gamble. Recent graduates have accepted jobs in a wide variety of fields such as data science, consultancy, consumer analysis, and financial risk analysis.
The information provided is sourced from a third party, Lightcast. Their product, called Career Coach, combines extensive labor market data from Lightcast and the U.S.Bureau of Labor Statistics. It provides insights on industry, occupation, compensation, and projected growth for each profession. Economic and workforce information is available for various geographic regions. Some careers may require additional training or education.
The degree of Master of Science is granted to those who satisfactorily complete the required course work, carrying a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. The degree must be completed within five years of acceptance into the program. All students must contract for graduation and be enrolled for at least one credit hour of study each academic year. Students must also be registered for at least one credit hour in the year of graduation.
