ONE UNIVERSITY

meeting the needs of our community

Whether you’re from the east side or the west side, the University of Cincinnati is embedded in the heart of the city of Cincinnati. With three distinct campuses, each serving the needs of the Greater Cincinnati community, there is a path for everyone at UC.

Uptown Campus

Located just minutes from downtown Cincinnati, our flagship campus combines luscious green space with elegant architecture on what Forbes Magazine calls one of the world’s most beautiful college campuses. With over 41,000 students, our Uptown campus is our largest campus boasting 500+ student organizations, Division 1 Big 12 athletics, and the Cincinnati Innovation District.

For the Queen City

  • UC is fueled by the talent in our hometown and surrounding area. 53% of our 2022 record enrollment of nearly 48,000 Bearcats are from the Greater Cincinnati Region.
  • Of the 332,000+ living alumni of Bearcats Nation, approximately 50% remain here after graduation.
  • The University’s overall impact in the community totals $10.6 billion, which supports over 125,000 jobs.
    • 1 out of every 12 jobs in the region are supported by the activities of UC and our students.

Impact. Innovation. Engagement.

As an urban, public university, our success is directly tied to the city of Cincinnati. We reach beyond our campuses to advance our community and beyond.
