A Bearcat For Life Story

There are so many things that make me a Bearcat for Life, but they all come back to my time in the Bearcat Bands!

I followed my high school sweetheart (and fellow marching band member) to college and fell in love with the sight of campus and the sounds of our Cincy spirit.

From there, a marching magazine internship built my writing chops, a graduate assistantship turned into a full-time career at the university, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience took me all the way to Cairo, Egypt with a pep band.

I can’t imagine spending a Saturday anywhere else but Nippert Stadium; a weekday anywhere other than Edwards Center; a lifetime anywhere other than Cincinnati.

Bearcats for life—we bleed red and black, and stand first and last!
