Media Production students from the UC College-Conservatory of Music will help produce and broadcast "The Rotation" live, bringing the Big 12 original to Basketball Media Days on Oct. 20-21 in Kansas City. Watch their work on episode 2 of “The Rotation,” airing live on the Big 12’s YouTube channel each day from 2-4 p.m. CT, with interviews and short-form content available across Big 12’s social media platforms.

The Carnegie closes its 2026 season of musicals with the cult-favorite "Carrie: The Musical." Produced in partnership with CCM and featuring performers from the college's nationally recognized Musical Theatre program, the production runs at The Carnegie Oct. 23-Nov. 1, 2026.

Cincinnati Public Radio features CCM's new Conservatory Series in its latest "Cincinnati Spotlight." The series launches on Wednesday, Oct. 21 with its inaugural "Grand Tradition" concert featuring a variety of CCM's distinguished faculty artists.

The Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) has named Jiayi Lu, a second-year DMA student studying piano performance at CCM, as its 2026-27 Ohio Young Artist Piano Competition winner. Selected from a field of 18 competitors as the state winner, Lu will represent Ohio in the MTNA East Central Division Competition, performing in competition against winning pianists from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Including the winning projects, CCM Media Production received 24 award nominations that span 13 categories from non-fiction and fiction to arts/entertainment and sports.
