Discover the Symphony Like Never Before
Symphony Behind the Scenes, a 10-week adult education series from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and UC College-Conservatory of Music, invites audiences behind the curtain of a professional orchestra. From artistic planning and rehearsal techniques to administration, education and concerto production, this course offers an insider’s view of how symphonic music comes to life.
Each week features expert speakers, guided listening, interactive workshops and exclusive access including rehearsals and live concerts. Whether you’re a lifelong learner, avid concertgoer, or simply curious, you’ll leave with sharper listening skills, deeper musical understanding and a stronger connection to Cincinnati’s vibrant orchestral community.
Created by CCM Associate Professor of Music Aik Khai Pung in collaboration with the CSO, registration for this new adult education series is available online.
