LGBTQ Center

Mission

The LGBTQ Center supports the mission of the University of Cincinnati through a commitment to diversity, equity, leadership development, and intellectual inquiry with particular respect to sexual orientation and gender identity.  The Center is an inclusive campus community that welcomes people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and provides support, resources and advocacy.  The Center facilitates LGBTQ visibility by promoting and enhancing understanding, acceptance, and awareness regarding LGBTQ issues.

Vision

We envision a community where LGBTQ people and allies are appreciated, safe and included in the entire UC experience.  Believing that excellence and diversity go hand in hand, we envision a campus where every individual acknowledges a deep and meaningful commitment to diversity in all its forms.

Come visit us in suite 565 of the Steger Student Life Center. The Center includes a LGBTQ resource library and a common safe space for educational, social and recreational programming related to LGBTQ student issues. If you would like to find out more about us, please feel free to contact us.
