The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology was the first BSIT program in Ohio and one of the first ten in the nation to receive accreditation from the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology.

The Associate of Applied Business in Information Technology program prepares students to learn the basic elements of problem solving and critical reasoning via programming logic and object-oriented programming techniques, structured programming techniques and web scripting abilities using current, industry-standard programming and scripting languages.

Note: Students who complete the program will earn an Associate of Applied Business degree, with an option to transfer to the five-year (co-op required) IT program in UC's School of Information Technology.

Our Bachelor of Science in Information Technology program prepares students to build their expertise by focusing on important IT concepts that are needed to thrive in the IT industry. Our program allows our students to take courses where they will learn how to create innovative solutions using cutting-edge technology; assist in creating cybersecurity solutions to prevent cybercrime; analyze data for forward thinking decision making; create applications that use the latest programming languages and technologies; and develop games and simulations that are both engaging and visually stimulating to consumers.
