                CET&L Semester Conversion Support

The challenge of semester conversion provides UC with a wonderful opportunity to closely examine what we want to achieve as a 21st century university. CET&L has rallied several structures to support UC's faculty as they create more innovative pedagogies and curricula. Read more about CET&L's Semester Conversion Programs...

In 2009-2010, the CET&L will offer four Course Redesign Seminars---two will focus on the traditional face-to-face learning environment. The other two will focus on online learning with the intent of either creating new, online-course materials to be used in a hybrid course design or converting a face-to-face course to an online format that takes full advantage of instructional technology.

Applications for participation will be considered until each seminar is filled.

                Workshops

These hands-on workshops are open to all teaching faculty -- full-time, part-time, and GTAs -- and serve as introductions to various pedagogies and technologies that can improve teaching skills and enhance student learning.
