College Day

College Day 2024 is Friday, August 23, 2024. This is a required event for all first-year students!

College Day is an opportunity for you to meet classmates within your specific college, meet faculty, administrators, and your academic advisor, as well as learn the expectations that your college has of you! All first-year students will receive an email from their college with detailed instructions on how the day will flow.

Enjoy some snacks and grab a t-shirt while meeting and connecting with classmates, peer leaders, advisors, and faculty at the Health Sciences Building (HSB) on the UC Medical Campus. 

Walk or shuttle over from Main Campus to Eden Avenue Garage-Rear Shuttle Stop. If driving a car, students will need to pay for parking in Eden Avenue Garage.

College Day Details

The College of Arts and Sciences is excited to welcome our new 2023 Bearcats. Students will get a chance to meet the new Dean of A&S, faculty, advisors, success coaches and other students. Enjoy pizza and snacks on the Bearcat Commons Lawn; have fun and get A&S merch. You are also invited to visit our New Clifton Court Hall building. We will have optional Drop-In Advising from 1-3 pm for last-minute schedule changes or questions in French Hall West.

New UC Blue Ash Bearcats are invited to the UCBA campus to meet faculty, staff and current students and get acclimated before the fall semester begins! Join us for a fun welcome and an opportunity to get those last-minute questions answered. Student leaders will offer campus tours, small group experiences, and assistance in finding your classrooms! Plus, you can enjoy some snacks at your new campus!

During College Day 2023, Lindner Bearcats will have the opportunity to meet the other members of their learning community, their PACE leader, the LCB dean's team, and business faculty/staff. Additionally, they will receive a tour of the building and a free LCB t-shirt!

Students will begin their CEAS College Day with department sessions at various locations across campus. Program advisors will send emails with the location and other relevant information. After department sessions, students are invited to lunch on Library Square, hosted by CEAS Tribunal. Information booths will also be available for some CEAS student groups and college resources.

We will start our day in Procter Hall on East Campus at 11 am. Please plan to be here right on time because we have a full day planned for you! We will first break down the College of Nursing’s advising support and BSN program expectations before we take a break for lunch. After lunch, we will review some UC resources, and our First Year Experience programming, and meet the College of Nursing’s Student Organization Leaders. Finally, you will engage in a fun group activity with your iLEAD Learning Community classmates and mentors before the program concludes at 3 pm.
