To confirm your admission to the University of Cincinnati, log in to your Applicant Status Portal using the email and password you used for your application.

Once you're in, follow the steps listed under “Next Steps” to submit your confirmation form and officially secure your spot in the incoming class. 🎉

If you have trouble accessing your portal, UC Admissions can help reset your login information.

To access your Bearcat Portal, visit https://bearcatportal.uc.edu. 

If you are logging in for the first time, use the default password Uc!mmddyyyy (replace mmddyyyy with your full date of birth), then immediately create a new password when prompted — the default password only works for six login attempts. 

If you need help accessing your portal, contact the IT Service Desk.

To be eligible to receive the most financial aid, UC strongly recommends submitting your FAFSA as early as possible. This early application window gives you priority consideration for limited funding sources.

First, take a moment to celebrate — you've earned this! Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance brought you here, and the entire Bearcat community is excited to welcome you. This is your moment. Own it.

Once you confirm your admission, you'll then be able to complete important next steps like checking your financial aid status, registering for Bearcats Bound Orientation, applying for campus housing and submitting required documentation. Some of these next steps can be completed now, while others will be available beginning in February.

You'll also receive communications from UC about upcoming deadlines, events and resources to help you prepare for your first semester. Be sure to check your UC email regularly and complete tasks in your portal to stay on track for a smooth transition to campus.

We encourage you to register for your on-campus, in-person orientation when it opens in February to reserve your preferred date and time. The housing application will also open in February. Watch your email for updates and the link to apply. The earlier you apply, the higher your chances of getting your preferred room type.
