Owning Your Impact Certificate Program

Owning Your Impact: Advancing a Culture of Respect and Accountability is a certificate program offered by the Office of Ethics, Compliance and Community Impact, designed to strengthen understanding, responsibility, and accountability across our campus community.

The certificate consists of a series of workshops covering a foundational segment that allows participants to reflect on their values and motivators as well as four topics based on university policies: Non-Discrimination, Title IX, Title VI, and Responding to Hate & Harassment. Together, these modules provide participants with a comprehensive foundation to meet federal and state obligations, institutional expectations, and best practices for fostering a respectful and engaged campus community.

Through interactive learning and scenario-based case studies, participants will gain the knowledge and tools needed to recognize their role in creating a culture of respect, respond appropriately to concerns, and uphold accountability in their daily interactions and professional responsibilities.
