The more than 65 faculty and staff of the Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education facilitate real-world work experience for students, teach students to prepare for their professional lives, and provide career services to University of Cincinnati students and alumni.

At the same time, we connect employers and external partners with the talent they seek in a variety of arrangements both inside and outside the classroom.

Our co-op and internship programs are among the Top 5 in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges Rankings.  

In recent years, the Division has grown rapidly to include not only mandatory cooperative education programs but also optional co-op/internship programs, international work programs, undergraduate research, service-learning, UC Forward, and the Bearcat Promise Career Studio.
