Career Fairs

A career fair or job fair brings together employers, recruiters, and hiring managers with job seekers to identify strong candidates for current or future openings. It’s also a chance for you to explore companies and roles that align with your career goals.

Fall 2026 Career Fairs

Meet employers and find paid, part-time work on or near campus

  • Date: September 3, 1–3 p.m.
  • Location: TUC Great Hall

Details: Find out which employers will be there and RSVP through Handshake.

Meet the Firms is an accounting and finance specific career fair, presented by Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honorary Society and Lindner Student Services. Organizations will be in attendance to meet you and talk with you about their career opportunities.

Bring printed copies of your resume, dress in business professional attire, and research companies and positions on Handshake before attending.

Meet representatives from hundreds of companies actively recruiting for business, engineering, and IT roles.

Dates: September 15–17, 2026
Locations:

  • September 15: Business majors, Campus Recreation Center
  • September 16: Engineering/IT, Campus Recreation Center and Tangeman University Center
  • September 17: Engineering/IT, Campus Recreation Center

Details: Check daily employer lineups and register via Handshake.

Engineering and IT students who are seeking co-ops or full-time jobs are encouraged to attend this “reverse” career fair where student organization members and leaders stand at tables while employer representatives browse around. (Students who aren’t yet affiliated with an organization are also welcome.)

The reverse career fair is presented by student organization leaders from CEAS and the School of IT in CECH.

Join us at the Real Estate Career Fair located in TUC’s Great Hall from 6 PM - 8 PM on Tuesday, September 24th. Bring multiple copies of your resume, dress professionally, and get ready to meet with professionals ready to hire you!

  • How to Prepare: Visit how to prepare for Career Fairs for tips and advice, and attend Career Studio events listed below. Learn how to make the most of a career fair with our preparation guide.
  • Find a Career Fair: Log into your Handshake account, navigate to “Events,” and select “Career Fair.” Browse attending employers, filter by your interests, and “favorite” companies to easily find them later.
  • Practice your Elevator Speech: Share your knowledge and credentials quickly and effectively with someone you just met with UC’s elevator speech guide.

Pro Tip: Bring polished copies of your resume, dress professionally, and research companies beforehand to make the most of your time. 

For deep discounts on professional attire, attend the Suit Up sale event at JC Penney's Eastgate store. In addition, students who qualify for assistance can also shop for free professional clothing and accessories at the Bearcats Pantry's Career Closet.

On-Campus Recruiting & Employer Events

Employers visit UC to host information sessions, tabling events, or virtual workshops to connect with students. These events offer insights into company culture, hiring processes, and job opportunities. Even if you’re not actively job hunting, attending allows you to network with professionals in your field of interest.

Pro Tip: Come prepared with thoughtful questions to show your interest and engagement.

Many employers conduct on-campus interviews at UC, providing a convenient way to interview for jobs directly on campus.

How to Apply: Log into Handshake, go to "Jobs," and select "On-Campus Interviews." Apply for roles through Handshake, and employers will contact you to schedule an interview if selected.

Career Workshops: Sharpen Your Skills
