Retirement Committee

The Board of Trustees of the University of Cincinnati established the Retirement Committee to oversee the administration and investment of the following retirement plans which are sponsored by the University:

Finance and administration committee action shall be required for:

  • The University of Cincinnati Alternative Retirement Plan covering employees who elect not to participate in the statewide retirement plan based on their employee classification;
  • The University of Cincinnati Grandfathered 403(b) Plan covering employees prior to July 1, 1977;
  • The University of Cincinnati Traditional 403(b) Plan providing electing employees the opportunity to save additional amounts for their retirement;
  • The University of Cincinnati Supplemental Qualified Retirement Plan and the related University of Cincinnati Supplemental 415(m) Plan to provide supplemental retirement benefits to certain employees who participate in the University’s Alterative Retirement Plan;
  • The University of Cincinnati Supplemental 403(b) Retirement Plan and the related University of Cincinnati 403(b) Supplemental 415(m) Plan to provide supplemental retirement benefits to certain employees who do not participate in the University’s Alterative Retirement Plan.
