As graduation gets closer, come celebrate your exciting achievement at Grad Bash! Produced by the Commencement Office, graduating students can decorate their caps, have photos taken, win door prizes, and more at this fun, informal, FREE event.

Cap Decorating

Get creative and decorate your cap for your Commencement ceremony! Just bring your grad cap, and the Commencement Office will supply decorating materials free of charge.

Give Back at Grad Bash!

Now that you're graduating and moving forward, it's time to give back! Bring canned goods to donate at Grad Bash and in exchange we'll give you an exclusive graduation item. All donations will go to the Bearcats Pantry.

Photography

A professional photographer will be on site to take photos that will be available for you to purchase. You can bring your cap and gown for graduation photos, take a fun photo with your decorated cap, and/or have professional headshots taken.

Financial Literacy/Money Management

Have fun learning about the importance of budgeting, ways you can save money, and ultimately, prepare for life after UC. Come play "The Game of Life" and see if you can manage your money through an entire month. Winners take home prizes!

 

UC Bookstores offer a one-stop shop in the TUC Bookstore for all your Commencement needs prior to each Fall and Spring ceremony. Purchase regalia, diploma frames, announcements, and other celebratory items all in one place! Spring 2024 Grad Fair will be held on March 27 and 28.

 

Lavender Graduation Celebration is an annual celebration conducted each spring on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the University. For more information, please contact the LGBTQ Center.

Tyehimba is the Afrocentric celebration designed for graduates of the University of Cincinnati to acknowledge their achievements. The word Tyehimba means “We Stand as a Nation,” and this celebration recognizes students and the village that have helped them reach this milestone.
