Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted each spring on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the University. For more information, please contact the LGBTQ Center.

Tyehimba is the Afrocentric Celebration designed for graduates of the University of Cincinnati to acknowledge their achievements. The word Tyehimba means “We Stand as a Nation,” and this celebration recognizes students and the village that have helped them reach this milestone.
