Counter-Hegemonic Knowledge: Brain Drain, Quantification, and the Erosion of Zetetic Freedom

This project analyses how structural disparities between core (Global North) and periphery (Global South) academic institutions and the quantification of academic prestige limits the epistemic freedom of periphery researchers and periphery economies via brain drain. It also seeks to outline how periphery academic systems can counter this epistemic injustice.
