Oral and Communal Narratives as Counter-Archives of Disability in Ghana

Oral and communal narratives in Ghana function as counter-archives through which disability is remembered, interpreted, and morally negotiated. Drawing on oral history, ethnography, and African philosophical traditions, my research explores how storytelling preserves and critiques communal understandings of disability, belonging, and care while contributing an African-centered perspectives to global disability scholarship.
