In alignment with the principles of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, we strive to create an environment where differences in ability are recognized, respected, and supported, so every student can fully engage in their learning experiences.

We work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure equal access to academic programs, campus services, and co-curricular experiences.

Accessibility Resources is dedicated to ensuring that students with qualifying disabilities have equitable access to academic programs, services, and opportunities. In alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other applicable federal and state laws, we coordinate and facilitate reasonable academic accommodations.

We partner with students through an interactive process to identify and implement accommodation that supports their academic goals while maintaining the integrity of course standards. Our office works proactively to remove barriers, promote accessibility, and cultivate an inclusive educational environment where all students can fully participate and thrive.

Our approach centers on reducing barriers and creating pathways for full participation. We recognize that each student’s experience is unique, and we strive to provide individualized support that empowers students to engage confidently in all aspects of university life.

Our offices follow the University of Cincinnati’s official calendar. 

Accessibility Resources offices are closed when the University offices are closed, or the University has suspended operations per Winter Weather Closure Procedures and Emergency Campus Closure rules.
