Testing
Testing accommodations are available to students who have registered with Accessibility Resources and are approved for testing accommodations.
Accommodated Testing
Testing Services coordinates the administration of classroom assessments for students with registered with Accessibility Resources. Students can find descriptions of testing accommodations under Testing, Exams and Quizzes.
Students are responsible for requesting their testing accommodations directly from their instructors. Faculty will adjust testing times in Canvas or other online platforms as needed. To ensure your accommodations are in place, it is recommended that you contact your instructor at least 48–72 hours before your scheduled assessment.
Your email request should include:
- The accommodation you are requesting (e.g., double time on assessments)
- The specific course and assessment (e.g., HIST 1003-001 Midterm Exam)
- The date of the assessment
Dear Professor,
I am a student registered with Accessibility Resources and am writing to request my accommodation of double time on assessments for the Chapter 5 Quiz in HIST 1003-001, scheduled for March 25, 2023. Please ensure that the additional time is applied before I begin the exam.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or Accessibility Resources at accessresources@uc.edu or 513-556-6823.
Thank you for your assistance.
