Signature Events

In celebration of February's Black History Month, UC offers an annual series of programs, lectures, and events that encourage our community to honor, celebrate, and reflect on the university's rich history of Black leaders, trailblazers, and alumni who conquered barriers, inspired change, and made the world a better place.

The Commencement Office recognizes our graduating students' achievements by celebrating those successes at the University of Cincinnati Commencement ceremonies.

Bearcats Kickoff is the official  welcome into the University of Cincinnati community for all first time Bearcats. The event is held during Bearcats Welcome.

Bearcats Welcome occurs during the first week on-campus leading up to the start of classes. There are tons of events to attend that can help you meet your fellow Bearcats, learn more about UC, and explore the campus. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Events will be shared on the GetInvolvedUC and the complimentary app Corq.

Family Weekend is held each fall to give parents and families the opportunity to spend time with their student, experience life at UC, and explore our city of Cincinnati. It's a schedule-packed weekend of events to enjoy with your family. Everyone is welcome and we have activities for all ages from 0 to 100!

The University of Cincinnati Memorial Service pays tribute to the students, faculty, and staff who passed away. The UC community is invited each year to honor these forever Bearcats.

In celebration of March's Women's History Month, UC offers an annual series of programs and events to honor and celebrate the achievements of women at UC and beyond who have faced challenges, conquered barriers, and worked to improve the world for all women. Women's History Month coincides with International Women's Day on March 8.
