Black History Month
In celebration of February's Black History Month, UC offers an annual series of programs, lectures, and events that encourage our community to honor, celebrate, and reflect on the university's rich history of Black leaders, trailblazers, and alumni who conquered barriers, inspired change, and made the world a better place.
As a Bearcat, you've worked so hard and accomplished so much! Commencement celebrates our graduating students at the conclusion of each semester! Join us to recognize your achievements and celebrating your successes at the conclusion of your degree.
New Student Convocation is the official ceremonial welcome into the University of Cincinnati community for all first time Bearcats. The event is held during Welcome Week (the first week students are on-campus prior to the start of classes).
Family Weekend is held each fall to give parents and families the opportunity to spend time with their student, experience life at UC, and explore our city of Cincinnati. It's a schedule-packed weekend of events to enjoy with your family. Everyone is welcome and we have activities for all ages from 0 to 100!
The University of Cincinnati Memorial Service commemorates the students, faculty, and staff who were lost in the year prior. The UC community is invited each year to honor these forever Bearcats. The next Memorial Service will be held on March 9, 2021.
Student Impact Symposium
The Student Impact Symposium provides an opportunity for students to showcase their impact and learning outside of the classroom through their student organization, individual, or small group accomplishments. Don't miss the chance to share your achievements with the UC community!
Welcome Week occurs during the first week on-campus leading up to the start of classes. There are tons of events to attend that can help you meet your fellow Bearcats, learn more about UC, and explore the campus. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Events will be shared on the CampusLINK and the complimentary app Corq.
