Canvas Password Set Up

Exams that are not 2-step password protected may be accessed by students without connecting to a live proctor. To avoid confusion, you can create 2 assessments, (1) your course exam and (2) your Password Quiz.

Note: the Honorlock password (starts with HL-) does not password protect an exam. Do not edit it.

Your Password Quiz should be a fill-in-the-blank, 1-question assessment. The answer to the Password Quiz will be the test password. In order for students to access the course exam, they will have to first answer the Password Quiz successfully. They will only get the password from Testing Services on exam day.
