Hoffman Events

Wednesday, August 19th, 6:30 - 8:00 PM - New students and their families are invited to attend this welcome ceremony featuring faculty, staff, and speakers from the UC community! 

Sunday, August 23, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - All Hoffman scholars will spend the day building community, exploring Findlay Market, and preparing for exciting HHS experiences! Scholars: check your email for timelines and transportation updates!

HHS is hosting three workshop dates (students are required to attend 1 per semester), featuring community partners. Students will learn how to make positive social change and begin developing Hoffman legacy projects. Students are required to attend one workshop on one of the following dates: September 14 or September 17. 

Saturday, September 19, 9 AM - 1:00 PM - Students can complete service hours working at Bowyer Farm. We will take a bus to this gorgeous location and support the incredible work they do to keep the zoo animals fed and the gardens looking lucious!

Sunday, September 27, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM - This annual Hoffman tradition in support of ALS Ohio brings together ALS patients and their families for a fantastic day of fundraising and awareness. Scholars will spend the day helping the ALS Ohio team run this event!

HHS is partnering with the UC Career Studio team to help students prepare for AI job applications and career searches. Students may choose between two dates: October 5 or October 8.

Monday, October 12, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM we will take HHS and UHP students around the city of Cincinnati for service days with community partners. Stay tuned for a list of partners!
