HHS Ambassadors

The Social Engagement Chair employs communication, relational, and planning skills to help foster a greater sense of community, cohesion, and belonging within the HHS community. They are also tasked with representing HHS to stakeholders on campus and in the wider community.

The Service Co-Chairs make connections with community partners on and off campus and work to plan events where HHS students can utilize their passions, knowledge, and talents to directly benefit other people.

The Global Engagement and Creativity Chair is tasked with planning events and opportunities for HHS students to thoughtfully and creatively engage with the wider world and the issues that affect humanity as a whole. This type of learning and immersion can expand people’s definitions of what is possible, and thus serves as a precursor to social innovation.

The Digital Literacy Chair creates programs and events for HHS students to learn about the ethical and responsible use of scientific knowledge and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.

The Leadership Development Chair assists fellow HHS students in developing their personal leadership identity and skills, with the ultimate goal of equipping all Hoffman Honors Scholars with the ability to be transformational leaders and social innovators.

The Career Development Chair employs their skills in communication, marketing, finance, and business to prepare fellow HHS students for success in their careers. They provide programming that helps all students facilitate meaningful interpersonal connections, engage in continuous professional learning and growth, and develop skills necessary for success.
