University of Cincinnati college is piloting a program to serve alumni of foster and kinship care
December 12, 2025
In 2025 the Ohio Reach Postsecondary designation was awarded to UC's College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH) as part of the program's third cohort. The program recognizes and supports higher education institutions that have worked to make their campuses welcoming and accessible for students with a history in foster or kinship care. CECH will run a pilot program called Anchor Point aimed at wide-scale implementation across the campus in Fall 2026.

Bold Changes for UC's IDD Education Center

The IDD Education Center at UC is expanding by adding the Regional Autism Advisory Council (RAAC) as a new program and welcoming three new team members. These changes reinforce the Center's commitment to creating inclusive opportunities and life-changing programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they can achieve their fullest potential and independence.

Presidential challenge to UC: Join Ride Cincinnati to fight cancer
July 16, 2024
UC President Neville Pinto has again challenged every UC college and unit to send at least one rider to the September 14 Ride Cincinnati event to help fundraise for cancer research and cancer care. UC students ride free. Signup by July 31 for free UC-branded cycling jersey.
