Hoffman Honors Scholars
The Hoffman Honors Scholars program (HHS) is a prestigious program designed to advance the career outcomes and experiences of exceptional students at the University of Cincinnati.
The HHS develops high-achieving students who embody Hugh Hoffman’s legacy through global engagement, leadership excellence, community commitment, and digital literacy. Thanks to Mr. Hoffman's generous gift of $50 million in endowed scholarships, we honor his incredible philanthropic legacy by providing scholarships to the three academic colleges he cared most about.
HHS students receive personalized advising and engage with university and local partners to gain relevant career experience. Scholars will leverage their experiences to drive social innovation, benefiting their communities and advancing their career aspirations.
This scholarship funding and programming will provide high-achieving students with the requisite skills and experiences to participate fully in a changing world, while allowing them to study the field of their choice and graduate debt free.
This year introduced me to new experiences and people who have helped me grow both personally and as a leader. The Strengths Finding Workshop was very helpful, allowing me to better understand the kind of leader I am and how I can use my strengths to grow. I also found the Civic Garden Center Day of Service to be a meaningful way to connect directly with the community.
