Greta Karoscik

Greta Karoscik is a fourth-year-student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Asian Studies. Greta aspires to work in a field that can provide her many thrilling and motivating life experiences. As a member of UC’s Japanese American Student Society (JASS), Greta could collaborate with like-minded students and work diligently while studying the Japanese language. In her junior year, she was a teacher's assistant for a developmental psychology course. This role helped her see the importance of teaching and she realized the impact she could create for the students around her. For her senior year capstone, Greta conducted community-based research on the effects of gentrification in Cincinnati. She loved being able to service her community and help bring awareness to real and important issues.

Upon graduating in the spring of 2024, Greta plans to travel and continue studying psychology. Behavioral and social psychology are the main focus of her study. She intends to conduct more research on the behaviors of others and how they interact in different environments. Greta plans to use her unique life experiences to guide her through her academic and professional career. In the future, Greta hopes to work with many different people and learn about their cultural and behavioral differences/similarities.
