Available Software
The University of Cincinnati maintains a variety of software resources to support teaching, learning, research, and administrative needs. In some cases, it is advantageous for the university to purchase site or volume licenses for commercial software and make those products available to faculty, staff, and students at no additional cost or at a reduced rate.
The Enterprise Software Directory serves as a central location for discovering software available to the UC community, including university-licensed applications, supported software, and purchasing options. The directory helps users identify existing software resources before pursuing new purchases and promotes greater visibility into university software investments.
Some site-licensed software is also available for immediate use through the Langsam computer lab and MyDesk Student Desktops (Virtual). Please visit the DTS Computer Labs webpage to view the software currently available in those environments.
Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) negotiates software agreements, manages applicable licensing, and coordinates access to university-supported applications. Use the resources below to explore the Enterprise Software Directory and learn more about contract-negotiated, site-licensed, and discounted software available to the UC community
