Uptown Living & Community Resources
As a student living off-campus, you are a resident of the City of Cincinnati. And as such, you have access to a variety of city services and resources that can help you stay informed, address concerns, and navigate life off-campus. The following are services to explore:
- 311 Cincy - Allows residents to report non-emergency issues such as potholes, missed trash collection, streetlight outages, graffiti, and other neighborhood concerns
- Cincy Alerts - Provides important notifications about emergencies, severe weather, road closures, and other public safety information that may impact your area
- General City Services for Cincinnati Residents - Serves as a central hub for information on city programs, utilities, transportation, permits, public safety, neighborhood services, tenant rights and responsibilities, and more.
Utilizing these resources can help you stay informed, access support when needed, and become an engaged member of the Cincinnati community while living off-campus.

Living off-campus means you're not just a UC student - you're also a member of your neighborhood. Community Councils and Neighborhood Associations are a great way to learn about what's happening where you live, meet your neighbors, and have a voice in local conversations. These organizations discuss topics like neighborhood events, safety, development projects, and general community improvements. These give students an opportunity to share ideas and experiences that strengthen your community. Your participation can make a meaningful difference while helping you feel more connected to the place that you live.
There are six neighborhoods that primarily house off-campus students in the Uptown area. To learn more, about which neighborhood you live in, explore this interactive Google Map to see your address location related to the neighborhood outlines. These neighborhoods include:
- Clifton - Located north of Uptown West Campus and east of Uptown East Campus
- Corryville - Located east of Uptown West Campus and south of Uptown East Campus
- CUF - Located south and west of Uptown West & East Campuses
- Mt. Auburn - Located south of Uptown West & East Campuses
