The Learning Commons offers free academic support services throughout the Summer semester from May 13th to August 8th. Explore the drop-down menus below to learn more about what's available.

What is the MASS Center?  It is drop-in tutoring (no appointment needed!) for math and science courses, offering a collaborative space to strengthen your understanding alongside peer tutors and fellow students.

How do I attend? Just stop by our space on the first floor of French Hall West, Room 2133 — no appointment necessary! 🎥 Check out our Instagram reel to watch a short video on how to find us.

Which courses is tutoring available this summer? Below are all the courses supported this summer. Check out the MASS Center website to see when your course is being tutored.
Math: MATH 1021, 1022, 1026, 1044, 1045, 1061, 1062, 2063, 2073, 2074, 2076
Statistics: STAT 1031, 1034
Biology: BIOL 1081, 1082
Chemistry: CHEM 1040, 1041, 2040, 2041
Physics: PHYS 1051, 1052, 2001, 2002

How long is each session? Stay for as little or as long as you’d like — 5 minutes or 5 hours, whatever fits your schedule!

Where does tutoring take place? All tutoring happens in person at 2133 French Hall West.

When is tutoring available? Tutoring is offered Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What is Academic Coaching? It is a personalized, one-on-one peer coaching session that helps you build effective study habits, manage your time, and develop strategies for academic success.

How do I attend? To participate, you’ll need to schedule an appointment in advance using our scheduling platform, TracCloud. 👉 Click here to watch a short video on how to access and schedule your session.

How long is each appointment? Appointments are 60 minutes.

Where does coaching take place? All coaching sessions are held online.

When is coaching available? Coaching is offered Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

What is Peer Tutoring? It is a one-on-one sessions where trained student tutors help you better understand course material and strengthen your learning.

How do I attend? To participate, you’ll need to schedule an appointment in advance using our scheduling platform, TracCloud. 👉 Click here to watch a short video on how to access and schedule your session.

How long is each appointment? Appointments can be scheduled in 30, 60, and 90 minute times.

How long is each appointment? Appointments are 60 minutes.

Where does coaching take place? All writing sessions are held online.

When is tutoring available? It is offered Mondays through Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
